Job Responsibilities:
Provide cancer genetic counseling to high-risk patients and family members including pre-test counseling, coordination of insurance pre-authorization, consent, and sample collection, post-test results interpretation and medical management discussion, and tracking of patient information.
Additional duties include continuously exploring opportunities for research development; designing, implementing, and presenting research studies; community outreach and education of hospital personnel through talks, lectures, support group participation, newsletter articles, etc.
